Como todos saben, estamos en #temporadadepremios. Pasaron los Globos de Oro y ahora fue el turno de los Critics’ Choice Awards, el pasado domingo 17 en Santa Mónica, CA, con T.J. MILLER (el actor de Silicon Valley) como anfitrión. Estos galardones son concedidos por más de 250 críticos de Estados Unidos y Canadá y premian lo mejor del cine y la televisión.
Vamos directo a los ganadores de las nominaciones a TV que desfilaron por la alfombra azul de los premios de la Crítica Cinematográfica.
La gran miniserie Fargo (la pusimos bien arriba en lo mejor del año 2015, acá y acá) que era la más nominada (8 nominaciones) finalmente consiguió 4 premios, entre ellos a mejor miniserie. Mr. Robot se quedó con 3 premios, incluido el de mejor serie dramática, y nos parece muy bien. El reconocimiento a la mejor comedia fue para Master of None, otra de las series que nos gustaron mucho.
Las cadenas ABC, FX NETWORKS y HBO lideraron con 14 nominaciones cada una. HBO recibió dos premios en las categorías de Mejor Actriz en Serie Dramática por el papel de Nora Durst, interpretado por Carrie Coon, en The Leftovers (con una tercera temporada en marcha), y Mejor Talk Show por Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

MEJOR ACTRIZ DE REPARTO EN PELICULA HECHA PARA TV O MINISERIE: Jean Smart – Fargo
MEJOR SERIE ANIMADA: BoJack Horseman (que tuvo una gran segunda temporada)
MEJOR REALITY SHOW – COMPETICIÓN: The Voice
MEJOR ANFITRION/CONDUCTOR DE REALITY: James Lipton – Inside the Actors Studio
MEJOR TALK SHOW: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
Nos quedamos bastante conformes con los ganadores de estos Critic’s Choice Awards. Al menos esta entrega de premios pareció más justa, a diferencia de los Golden Globes, que nos dejaron con algunos sinsabores.
